Biography

Formed in Sheffield and made up by brothers Joel and Josh Cana - who make up the rhythm and bass sections respectively, Sean Walsh on guitar and 'enigmatic, wizard-like lead singer' Nicholas Noble, who's as comfortable singing and breakdancing around the stage as he is on guitar or keys.

The Gentlemen have been performing in and around the North of England for nearly five years. They have built-up an extremely active following, and have played alongside artists such as: We Are Scientists, Palladium, Audio Bullys, The Saturdays, Colin Murray, Ash and The Motorettes.

The Gentlemen's new singles, 'Push Back!', 'Sending Cards', 'Something You Can't Regret' and 'I'm Not Leaving' have received extensive airplay throughout the United Kingdom, having picked up support from over 80 radio stations to date, including BBC Radio 1 and Radio 2. As well as national and regional radio coverage, they are making waves across the British press as one of the most exciting bands the country currently has to offer.

The Gentlemen's prolific live show has won them many fans and their hard-working ethos, catchy songs and gentlemanly manners will surely see them win thousands more in the future. With a number of national club and university tours under their belts, hometown sell-outs in excess of 1,000 and successful international festival dates to their name, the band look set for a big year in 2010.
